Elizabeth Hernandez serves as Director of Finance and Programs. Elizabeth will oversee HIP’s financial and administrative functions, including finance, information technology, human resources, and programs for California.
Elizabeth brings more than 30 years of business leadership experience to HIP, including substantial experience in technology and service companies. Prior to joining HIP in July 2010, Elizabeth served as Vice President of Finance at Avid Technology, Inc., a leading provider of digital media software and hardware solutions, during her tenure she oversaw the Audio and Consumer business units. Prior to Avid, Elizabeth served as Director level finance roles at Charles Schwab and DHL Airways.
Elizabeth holds a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Santa Clara University Law School. She received her bachelor degree in Business Administration from Santa Clara University. Elizabeth received her certified public accounting experience at Coopers and Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) and holds a CPA license, currently in an inactive status. She is a member of the State Bar of California and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
