| On October 6th, the Inter-American Development Bank hosted Hispanics in Philanthropy at the Bank for a special reception in conjunction with the Sixth Annual Assembly of the Funders' Collaborative for Strong Latino Communities. Participants in the Funders' Collaborative from around the country and Latin America joined more than 100 local community, political and Latino leaders for the reception. Speakers included Dennis Flannery, Executive Vice President of the Inter-American Development Bank, Cari Dominguez, Chair of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and Keely O'Callaghan, Director, Western Region, of the Fannie Mae Foundation. Special thanks to our sponsors, the Fannie Mae Foundation and the Inter-American Development Bank, as well as in-kind donors PEPCO and The Eugene and Agnes E. Meyer Foundation for making the event a success. |
