“A Celebration of Latino Leadership: Recognizing Philanthropic and Community Leaders”
On October 25th The Rockefeller Foundation hosted Hispanics in Philanthropy for a special reception to celebrate the success of Latino leaders within philanthropy and the nonprofit sector. Participants in the New York/New Jersey Grantee Convening joined professionals from the foundation world, the non-profit community and the corporate sector in New York City for the reception. The honorees included Antonio Maciel, Director of the U.S. Justice Fund at the Open Society Institute; Maria Teresa Rojas, Deputy Director for Grantmaking Strategies at the Open Society Institute; and Marta Tellado, Vice President for Communications at the Ford Foundation.
