In September of 2004, grantmakers from around the country, as well as Argentina and the Dominican Republic, gathered for the Fifth Annual Assembly of the HIP Funders' Collaborative for Strong Latino Communities.  Attendees discussed lessons learned from the first five years of the Collaborative as well as strategies for Phase Two.  Everyone received world-class treatment from our hosts, The Rhode Island Foundation, including a private concert with musical artist Tish Hinojosa.
