Ana Maria Vallarino

Ana Maria Vallarino joined HIP in the summer of 2006 and serves as Membership & Individual Donor Coordinator.   Prior to joining HIP, Ana Maria spent a year working and living in Nasu, Japan, a rural town north of Tokyo, teaching English and working with student programs at an all-boys boarding school.  Upon returning to Los Angeles, Ana Maria worked at Toberman Settlement House, a non-profit organization in San Pedro.  There she served as Capital Campaign Assistant and helped complete the $7.1 million campaign that gave Toberman an expanded and new campus for all the youth and family services TSH provides.  Ana Maria also has experience working in commercial real estate.   
 
Ana Maria graduated from Occidental College with a BA in Sociology and Spanish minor.  Born and raised in Los Angeles, her parents are native from Ecuador.  Ana Maria is fluent in Spanish and loves traveling and learning about other cultures, reading, playing sports (tennis), and knitting.
