Brianna Evans serves as the Development and Communications Coordinator for Hispanics in Philanthropy. As a graduate of Bucknell University with a B.A. in International Relations and Economics, she was involved with a variety of organizations both on and off campus: she was a writing tutor, wrote for the University newspaper, served as a peer educator at the Women’s Resource Center and completed her thesis titled Reproductive Health and Development: An Examination of Essential Capabilities which focused on four Latin American countries. She was also Vice President of a student organization called Alliance for Community Education and Services that raised funds to support children in the Dominican Republic.
Before joining HIP, Brianna worked as Program Assistant for an international nonprofit organization called Experience International where she helped coordinate programs for international exchange visitors. She also has spent time living and traveling in Chile, as well as throughout the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain and France. Brianna grew up in Bellingham, Washington just north of Seattle and is excited to be living back on the west coast. Brianna is conversationally fluent in Spanish, and enjoys traveling, snowboarding, outdoor concerts, and spending time with friends and family.
