Flor Ruiz Hinrichsen is Program Coordinator for the Northeast Region for HIP. She is a philanthropy professional who has provided project management and compliance services for corporate and private foundations. Flor has experience in fostering mutually beneficial nonprofit and corporate partnerships. She began her career working for educational organizations and visual artists in Mexico. Prior to joining HIP she served as Philanthropy Consultant for the Banamex-Citi Cultural Development Foundation (FCB), both in Mexico City and in New York. While at FCB, Flor was responsible for coordinating programs and cause-related sponsorships.
As a volunteer, Flor participates actively in several international development projects. Flor majored in business management in Mexico, studied International Relations in Vancouver, Canada and holds a Master’s in Arts Administration from Columbia University. She lives in New York, where she takes advantage of the multicultural landscape (above all cuisine and artistic events) that the city offers, in the company of her husband.
