Linda Chin is the Director of Finance and Administration for Hispanics in Philanthropy. A former Certified Public Accountant, Linda served as an auditor for Laventhol and Horwath for two years prior to her 17 years of experience in the non-profit sector. Linda was the Director of Finance for Dade Community Foundation (DCF) in Miami for seven years and a consultant for an arts non-profit in Miami for the past 10 years. At DCF, she was responsible for monitoring the assets, which at the time totaled in excess of $50 million. Linda received her Bachelor’s of Accounting from Florida International University and became a CPA in 1988.
Linda was born in Jamaica to parents of Chinese descent and migrated to Miami in 1973. She currently travels between the Miami and San Francisco offices, and cannot think of a better second home than San Francisco.
