Membership:  An Invaluable Asset

"Through HIP, I have been able to interact with seasoned leaders while developing my own professional leadership skills, thus enabling me to be both a stronger grantmaker and advocate for the Latino community.  The knowledge gained has been significant. The relationships have been inspiring.  And the experience has been invaluable."

Membership FAQ’s

  • Who are our members?

HIP’s membership includes staff and trustees of grantmaking institutions, individual philanthropists, and nonprofit service and advocacy organizations serving Latino communities.  Our members represent a growing network of Latino leaders working to strengthen Latino communities across the Americas.

While HIP is first and foremost an association of grantmakers, we recognize the contributions which others make to the field and maintain an open organization which includes nonprofits, consultants and academics.  In order to maintain the integrity of our network and to maximize participation at HIP events and gatherings, HIP maintains a strict "No Solicitation" policy.  HIP gatherings, events, convenings, and meetings are not a forum for fundraising and prospecting.
