Hispanics in Philanthropy

in collaboration with the Puerto Rico Community Foundation

and Grantmakers for Education

host a dialogue on compelling education models

impacting the next generation of Latinos

San Juan, Puerto Rico

February 28 and 29, 2008

Solutions NOW: a dialogue on meeting the educational challenges of Hispanic students

At a time when Hispanic students across the country face a growing achievement gap and experience high drop out rates and challenging financial pictures— 53% of Latino high school students graduate and fewer than 5% of Latino students are meeting the English proficiency goal—funders from across the Americas come together for a dialogue about best practices and solutions.

Join philanthropic leaders from W.K. Kellogg Foundation, ENLACE (Engaging Latino Communities in Education), Ford Foundation, Open Society Institute, and a number of others in this dynamic conversation.
