Networking Reception for People of Color in Philanthropy

Join HIP members for a special reception to honor and strengthen the role of people of color in the field of organized philanthropy.  Local hosts that represent the many diverse communities in the Pacific Northwest have linked together to host this networking event during the Council on Foundations Annual Conference for Community Foundations

This reception will feature local northwest cuisine, a welcome performance from local Tribal Cultural performers along with a stunning view of the Puget Sound and the Washington State ferry system. A brief program will highlight a model for collaboration between all the race based philanthropic groups in the Northwest.. We will also ensure open space for networking time with foundation representatives from around the U.S. and the world who are committed to advancing issues of race, cultural diversity and equity in the philanthropic sector.
