HIP Nite at "Real  Women Have Curves"
Thursday, May 26 6pm
Gala Theater
Washington, DC

Please join the Hispanics in Philanthropy Washington, DC area chapter and Gala Hispanic Theatre for a special presention of the play "Real Women Have Curves."

GALA concludes its “Homecoming” season with the DC premiere of Real Women Have Curves, the landmark Latino comedy that inspired an award-winning film. A young Latina girl goes to work in her sister’s unregistered sewing factory, where her mother and three other hard-working women manufacture department store dresses in sizes far smaller than their own. Over three days they bicker and bond over issues of sex, family and self-respect, while always on the lookout for La Migra (immigration officials).

If you have questions about this event, please contact DC Chapter Co-Chair Vivian Vasallo at  vvasallo@fanniemaefoundation.org
