As we move forward into the next five years of the Funders’ Collaborative with a fundraising goal of $50 million, join your HIP colleagues in shaping a Latino agenda in philanthropy. The Assembly is an excellent opportunity to share best practices, broaden your perspective and network with funders from across the country. Connect to the work going on across the Americas and in the nation's capital. Celebrate with us the start of the next phase of the Collaborative, and the beginning of our work in Washington, DC.

Speakers include Anthony Romero, Executive Director, ACLU; Luz Vega-Marquis, President and CEO, Marguerite Casey Foundation; Tomás Ybarra-Frausto, Associate Director for Creativity & Culture, The Rockefeller Foundation; and Rebecca Rimel, President and CEO, The Pew Charitable Trusts.

The evening of Thursday, October 6, the Inter-American Development Bank will host a reception for Assembly participants and members of the local funding and Latino nonprofit communities. Thanks to the IDB-DC Solidarity Program for making this event possible.

Who should attend?  Grantmakers who are currently participating in the Funders Collaborative or who are interested in learning more about this initiative are welcome.  Please note, this conference is only open to funders working at grantmaking institutions.
