Congratulations to all 30 honorees who received awards at the "Tribute for Change" annual gala of the Bread & Roses Fund, a progressive public foundation in Philadelphia.

Among the 30 honorees were some HIP all-stars:

-David Acosta, founder of the GALAEI Project (a HIP grantee), which provides HIV/AIDS services and other services for LGBT Latinos

-Nelson Carrasquillo, executive director of CATA (HIP grantee), which advocate for farmworkers

-Julia Lopez, executive director of Centro Pedro Claver (HIP grantee), which provides youth programs and other community services
